processes. But it doesn't have to be. As Realtors, it is our job to
represent you and your interests. We use our experience and knowledge
of the San Antonio market to provide you with the best service and
advice. So lets go over each step.
Buying/Selling a Home
Pre-Qualifying
The first step in purchasing a home isn't finding the one you want but
determining the loan amount you qualify for based on income and credit
history. Good credit or bad, we work with many mortgage companies to
find the perfect fit for you and your financial situation.
Finding a Home
As Realtors we have access to thousands of homes in the San Antonio and
surrounding areas. After finding out how much you qualify for we can
narrow down the thousands of listing based on your wants and needs such
as area of town, school district, square footage, number of bedrooms
and baths, etc.
Selling Your Home
When selling your home a Realtor is your most effective tool. It is our
job to list your home in the Multiple Listings Service which greatly
increases the chances of finding a qualified buyer and decreases the
amount of time you "sit" on your property. We can provide you with
detailed and accurate information on your neighborhood and surrounding
area to help you better determine a selling price. We also coordinate
showings and Open House events.
Contract & Negotiations
The contract and negotiations process is when a Realtor is the most
needed. It is our job to write up contracts and submit offers. We go
over in detail each section of the contract so you can understand the
obligations of both the buyer and seller.
Closing
The closing process is where the selling of property gets legally
finalized and transfer of title occurs. It is during this time that all
financial obligations are determined for both the buyer and seller
based on the contract. At the end of the closing is when the seller
gets paid and the buyer receives the deed to their new home.
